Change Management Employee Orientation
Employee change skills
The Change Management Employee Orientation creates transformational experiences that empower individuals to succeed in change. It is aimed at employees who are being impacted by change and is most effective when employees impacted by the same change attend the program together.
Why are employee change skills important?
Changes ultimately impact people’s day-to-day work. New ways of working, systems, processes, and responsibilities require employees to accept, adopt, and use change in their own roles.
The Change Management Employee Orientation helps participants better understand a change that impacts their job and discover productive, proactive ways to communicate about change. The program looks at change from the individual’s perspective and helps participants identify factors that may slow down or prevent adoption.
The program is most effective when participants are part of the same impacted employee group.

Common change challenges include:
- The purpose of the change is unclear
- Change creates uncertainty or resistance
- Conversations about the change become negative
- Employees feel victimized by change instead of empowered by it
- Adoption of the change moves slowly
The Change Management Employee Orientation helps participants:
- Understand what change management means
- Better understand a current change impacting their job
- Identify their own points of resistance
- Discover productive and proactive ways to communicate about change
- Create strategies for overcoming their own resistance
- Become confident and empowered in the change process
